Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-01
These Terms govern your purchase and use of the Mr. Kriss Essentials online dance course (the “Course”), available at essentials.mrkriss.com (the “Site”). By creating an account or buying the Course you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
The Course is sold and operated by Kristián Mensa (“Mr. Kriss”, “we”, “us”), Malá Strana 46, 252 41 Dolní Břežany, Czech Republic, business ID (IČO) 08069671. [CONFIRM: VAT ID, if registered.] Contact: kriss@mrkriss.com.
2. The Course
The Course is a pre-recorded video programme of seven modules (thirteen lessons) streamed online. It is educational movement content, not medical, therapeutic, or professional dance-training advice, and we make no promise of any specific result.
3. Your account
You must register a free account with accurate details to buy or watch the Course. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. One account is for one person; accounts and access may not be shared, sold, or transferred. You must be at least 18 years old (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to purchase.
4. Price and payment
The Course is a one-time purchase. Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where applicable; the currency and tax are determined by your location at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details. Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds, and an invoice/receipt is issued by Stripe.
5. Access licence
On successful payment you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream the Course for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Lessons unlock in sequence as you progress. Access may be used on up to two devices. The licence is for your own private, non-commercial use.
6. What you may not do
You may not download, copy, record (including screen-recording), broadcast, resell, sub-licence, or publicly show the Course or any part of it, nor share your login or circumvent access controls. Videos carry a visible watermark. Breaching this section may lead to suspension or termination of access without refund, and may infringe our intellectual-property rights.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
As an EU consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Because the Course is made available to you immediately, you are asked to expressly consent to immediate access and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once streaming begins, in line with Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. If you have not started the Course, you may still withdraw within 14 days.
8. Refunds
[CONFIRM: Kriss’s refund practice.] Beyond the statutory withdrawal right above, we may offer a refund at our discretion — for example if the Course is genuinely inaccessible due to a technical fault we cannot resolve. To request one, email kriss@mrkriss.com. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, and your access is revoked.
9. Health disclaimer
The Course involves physical movement. You take part at your own risk. Consult a doctor before starting if you have any injury, health condition, or concern, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort. We are not liable for injury resulting from your participation.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Site and streaming available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may perform maintenance or update the Course. If we permanently withdraw the Course during your paid access period, we will offer a pro-rata refund.
11. Intellectual property
All Course videos, text, graphics, and branding are owned by Kristián Mensa or licensed to us and are protected by copyright. No rights are granted except the limited viewing licence in Section 5.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Course. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when posted here with a new “last updated” date, and, where the change affects your rights, we will ask you to re-accept. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
[CONFIRM: governing law and courts — expected Czech law and the courts of the Czech Republic.] Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected. If we cannot resolve a complaint directly, EU consumers may turn to the competent consumer-protection authority in their country of residence (in the Czech Republic, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, coi.cz).
